On the portal people get to know each other step by step, like on a hike. That is why we have three levels of trust. They are not rankings and nobody is more or less. The better we know each other, the more independence we give you.
Wanderer
Every new member starts as a Wanderer. Your first photo galleries and your articles are looked at by the editors first. Until then only you can see them. We do this so that nothing that does not belong gets onto the site, which protects everyone here.
Companion
A Companion publishes photos on their own, at once. You become a Companion when we get to know you. Most often by posting in the forum regularly and politely (after five posts it happens by itself), or when the editors approve your first gallery.
Guide
A Guide writes and publishes articles on their own, and their photos may appear on the front page. This is a member we know well and trust. The editors decide who becomes a Guide.
Why are my photos not visible at once?
Because we do not know you yet. We look at the first gallery and then publish it. You will get an email when it is done. Nothing is lost, your photos are safe and you can see them.
What is welcome with photos
Trails, landscapes, poles, trips and stories from walking. Write a few sentences with the photos about where you were and what you experienced. The photos stay yours. When published we add the watermark NordicWalkingHub.com and make them smaller so the site stays light.
